8.1.1 Arrange

The active expression can be moved on the algebra display by selecting the entire expression and dragging it. This can become tedious when there are a large number of expressions on the display. Arrange repositions all the expressions. Using the active expression as an anchor, the remaining expressions are placed around it and then allowed to drift and settle to new positions in such a way that no expression interferes with another. While in arrange mode, expressions can be selected and dragged to new positions, with other expression following them along. A second touch on Arrange leaves arrange mode.
